That's a great achievement for Infinity Ward, Vgchartz numbers are also pretty close in line with this 10M mark. Xbox 360 and PS3 combined are at 9.34M. Maybe a tat high when adding in PC sales (and less importantly DS sales), but they're pretty close.
Edit: On topic of titles reaching 10M this generation, GTA IV, Guitar Hero III and CoD 4 are there or almost there already, so they're a given. I assume there will be other titles reaching the 10 million barrier, although so far they've all been multiplatform games. So far I don't think any third party single title is announced yet to break the 10M barrier.
