I have been playing for 30 hours, just 12 shrines and the first village. I'm enjoying the world and its sub bosses too much!

 

I've done 11 shrines and a bit of the story. I try to progress but see a shrine or tower and my head gets turned. At one stage I just went around farming materials and having a cooking spree. I honestly have never felt so much freedom in a game, tonight I'm going to stock up on stamina potion and climb some big mountains :)
