I consider it a given that the Switch will sell significantly better than the WiiU, if only for the reason that it's clearly a better concept.
But doing bad is an extremely vague phrase that can mean almost anything. If selling significantly better than WiiU is enough for being considered not doing bad, then I absolutely agree. But I doubt that in the long run Switch sales will come anywhere close to, say, Wii- or PS4 sales.
