Of Course not, good concept stays good concept, same goes for great launch game, only what is chaningible is marketing.
That's not exactly same, you could say that for Wii U or Wii, but fact is that Switch breaks record not Wii U or Wii. In matter of PS4, people were eager for successor to PS3/Xbox360 consoles after 8 years and PS4 was more attractive than XB1 was.
