It was at least good to know that beforehand. I've put some plastic inbetween the rails and screen while docking it for now, since my screen protector seems to be delayed. I might put some felt on them down the line. Not something that should have to be fixed by the user, but at least it's pretty easily fixable.
Joy-con issue on the other hand while fixable needs opening the Joy-Con possibly voiding warranty and soldering. I've had no issues with it so far though.
