Agreed. There is lots of spinning in this thread to make the Switch sales appear underwhelming but this "there's no difference in a holiday launch versus a March launch" is by far the most laughable. I assume that person has never seen a Nov or Dec NPD. Not that you'd really need to, logic dictates that there'd be tons more potential buyers during the holidays. And while it's true that it doesn't matter if you have 8 million potential buyers if you launch with only 2 million units available, waiting until holidays gives you a lot more time to hit that 2 million :)
