And this march nonsense again...... ok, lets just settle it. Are you aware that the PS2 relead on march 4th  in japan? And sold over 900k consols (980k to be exact) by march 5th. 24hrs after launch? In just one market.

Those numbers were retail orders, not consumer sales.

Point still stands.... sony had actually taken the orders (and money) of siginidficantly more consoles than it was actually able to manufacture. And lendig to what i was saying, that meant that every machine coming off the line was already bought by someone. Long story short, thats generally how launches go. And if sony were able to have actually brought those consoles to market they would have been sold too.... well, because people had already paid for them.
