It's not PR spin but clearly a cop out for not releasing numbers. Btw bad PR isn't only done by MS if you think I'm implying that but this gen MS takes the crown by a huge margin.

True.  They eventually announced the numbers shortly after, anyway.  ~915K sold through.  It'll probably be at 1M sold through, soon.  Not the greatest, but much better than the other two headsets.  Sales should also pick up nicely if Sony drops the price to $299 later this year.
