I've played several hours overnight and so far I'm blown away in what I can do and where I can potentially explore. I feel like I can almost do anything but despite that, I still feel the sense of danger and that I can't take anything for granted, especially when it comes to resources. I remember encountering the large golem monster and I was like "Oh crap! Gotta retreat for a moment and---" got one-shotted by a boulder it threw. One of my other favorites was trying to take this one horse after several failed attempts. The physics of this game are amazing, I can't imagine what else I can do. Planning to continue playing soon.
Some reviewers state that this could be Nintendo's Magnum Opus, which says a lot due to their legendary track record. I can't imagine what they can do with Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the next Pokemon, the next Fire Emblem, the next Kid Icarus, etc., let alone the next Zelda. Hopefully, IPs like Metroid can find that magic that could redefine the series once more.
