Switch seems to be a bit rushed both in manufacturing quality and state of firmware and software. Definitely seems like a soft launch and by Christmas console quality and firmware will be much better I'm sure. Games would have had a few patches too.
I was an early adopter of wii u and that had a few issues too that firmware updates sorted or improved. I remember loading time improving and stability and a few features cleaned up.
By the time I get a Switch Zelda may even run consistently at 30fps docked with maybe a resolution downgrade to 720p option.
