Yet. By the end of the 360's lifetime it will have outsold them all individually.
With regards to the OP, I haven't actually heard anything sounding like MGS4 was being considered the PS3's "savior." Last year all you heard was "just wait until GT5:P, MGS4, GTA4, etc..." I haven't heard anything like that for some months. PS3 fans (at least the rational ones) have accepted that the PS3 won't skyrocket to dominance overnight, but it will have steady sales and eventually wind up second. Games like MGS4 are no longer being thought of as jumper cables, but rather as extra cans of gas for a long trip.
(sorry if that last analogy sucks, it's all I could think of)
