It's not "going to happen", they're happening now. By recusing himself Sessions is excluded from the briefings that Dana Boente now receives instead.
Russiagate is to retarded liberals what Pizzagate is to retarded conservatives, so I doubt Trump's losing any sleep over it. His frustration is with the Obama holdovers and government lifers who are leaking to the media, which then gins up another controversy to control the news cycle. There's always a method to his apparent madness, and his Twitter "fit" was to get people to talk about something he wanted them to talk about.
