The Switch being also an handheld, it can be stolen during a trip. I like to backup my Vita saves before going on vacation with it, just in case. At least if my console get stolen, I won't lose my saves for my entire game library, which could happen on the Switch now.

You gotta be very unlucky for that to happen, but it could indeed happen, so fair enough.Hopefully Nintendo rolls out the cloud save sooner than later.
