Do you still think tha VR is the future of gaming? last year everyone was hyped buying peripherals for PCS, phones and the ps4 because VR was the new thing. I don't have a vr peripheral cause I don't care about the content yet, that could change in the future we'll see. Right now I don't see the VR hype, I know about people who have a vr device and are enjoying the experience, but I don't see the mass appeal.

I have the Samsung Gear VR.  Only using it a handful of times, I find it NEAT.  This whole "future of gaming" is way overstated. I see it as another option for gaming such as handhelds, home consoles, or VR.  They all have different aesthetical qualities.  VR is great for emmerive education purposes, but that's a different topic in and of itself.  In regards to gaming, it depends on the genre.  An easy example would be most genres in the first person which allow the players to easily and quickly assess their environment.  But you have other genres such as fighting, strategy, and rpg that won't benefit as much with a 360 degree perspective.  With all that being said, I see it having a mass appeal for casual use not neccesarily replacing what we already have.
