Essentially, it's an effort to experience how one used to go through those games where you did most of the discovering on your own and occasionally shared some of what you've found with a few others who were likewise working their way through it. That's very different from the exacting, detailed descriptions that can rocket you through a game easily found on the internet.
As for these allegations that I bought the official strategy guide, NAYETH, I did not!... I bought the only available bundle that JUST SO HAPPENED to include, AGAINST MY WILL AND PREFERENCE, the official strategy guide.
Totally different, and I shall not be using it :D
Might try to pop it up on eBay or something; I already managed to stand next to the damn thing waiting in Walmart for over an hour without looking through it so I have faith in my clearly unshakable resolve to spurn all outside assistance for this game.
