The "gigantic success" for tablets has been over for a couple of years already, this market is shrinking.
I'm not sure if IGN review is an exception, the Gamekult review is pretty close (basically "not a worthy alternative to a PS4 or XOne for a home console, not answering to current needs. Great for handheld gamers who love Nintendo, Japanese and indie games though").
