I guess it's just weird to see. It's hard to think of anything else that is like that. Maybe new physical media?
The recommendation to adopt Laser Disc or DvD is going to be entirely dependent upon whether or not good movies continue to come out on that platform. Which is of course influenced by how many people adopt it.
