Upon further investigation, it looks like I was wrong. I saw that video of a midway employee showing of motion controls for the Drama and assumed Nintendo had bought the tech from him, but apparently there was a lawsuit over it, so...

Interesting. Yeah, the only one that we literally have info on buying tech from an almost finished project for direct competition was Natal. Im sure there are others, but theve evaded my sight. Its the electronics industry.  Sony's always pushing tech and formats and Nintendo is always partnering with a company to work on tech. At one point that was sony themselves.
