I facepalmed so hard after reading this. This goes beyond absurd. Alright, let's go step by step to see why these are claims empty as can be.
1. Let's remember what the 3DS XL was marketed as - an upgrade from the original 3DS. They were aiming for people who had a 3DS and were looking for a more comfortable experience, which there were quite a bit. Sure, there were a lot of people that were new to the 3DS and were interested in the XL, but by removing the power cord they saved costs for the target audience which already had them and also made the box smaller, while the power brick was easily available for anyone that didn't have it, and also compatible with the original DS and DSi one (which a lot of people also had). Besides the power cord is bastardly cheap.
2. This has only been practice for Nintendo twice. Out of the two times they made a greatly underpowered console they struck gold once with the Wii. Gimmicks are a debate I won't get into that much (as it's a subjective one in many instances) - but many times their gimmicks weren't for vain. Motion controls are now becoming standard for VR and attracted a lot of people who never played games to buy the Wii, while it could also be used as a standard controller and allowed for many unique experiences. The Gamepad had a lot of potential, but was partially flawed in it's execution and required additional effort from third party developers. The Gamecube mini discs were addmitedly a partially confusing choice, but considering they were aiming for some sort of portability (hence the smaller size) using them made more sense than standard larger discs.
3. The launch lineup is also subjective, while a majority of people are interested in Zelda the other launch titles will very likely appeal to a good portion of people (Snipperclips, Fast RMX, Shovel Knight). The PS4 or XBONE launch weren't that impressive either, with no game that is be able to reach the same appeal as Zelda is / will with most people. Also, while the launch might not seem as exciting Nintendo - wise, the 8 months to follow are going to be basically one of if not the best Nintendo's ever had, with Splatoon, ARMS, Xenoblade, Mario (& Kart), Fire Emblem Warriors and more yet to be announced. Then you have the third parties and indies that will pile up alongside those.
4. This is a horrible complaint - why further support a dead system with a userbase ~13 million with outdated and underpowered hardware, instead of encouraging people to buy a better and newer product where they'll be putting their games for some time to come. They should have kept supporting the DS and Wii by this logic - there's no reason to keep the Wii U on life support when third parties are obviously not going to release titles for it and they're going to have a hard time convincing anyone to buy it. Releasing Mario Odyssey for the Wii U makes apsolutely no sense just because it didn't get a "true" 3D Mario game. It didn't get an F -Zero or Metroid game either, should they still release them?
5. It HAS A HEADPHONE JACK. Nintendo =/= Apple, don't believe everything you read and check the validity before making statements like this.
6. While addmitedly nice to have, I'd rather have a bigger library with better emulation later on and play the new games. This is objective and the only complaint here that makes sense to an extent, though not really greedy or shady buisness practice, technically they're saving you money by not having any to buy in the first place lmao. Besides, the Wii U didn't have it at launch either and I didn't see a lot of people complain about that.
7. The system's not even out yet but you're still judging Nintendo because they haven't announced a game yet. Welp, gotta be pissed for no Pikmin, Animal Crossing or Mother 3! How much do we need to beg? Also, with Reggie hinting at it and rumors building up a Metroid game might be closer to release than one would imagine.
8. (+ 9.) This is a dumb conspiracy theory that needs to die. Understocking a product to create PR is not a good idea, and a much more reasonable and likely explanation is that there is actual demand for the Switch, and that they didn't make as many NES Classics because they didn't think it would sell so well. Also there are definitely places where you can order a Nintendo Switch.
10. The Wii U and original 3DS were quite expensive to manufacture, parts becoming older doesn't necessarily =/= parts becoming cheaper. Using something outdated that very few other companies use makes it more expensive to produce compared to newer parts, yet they still need to make a profit and sell the same product over time. This is why the Wii U didn't recieve a price cut. The 3DS and 3DS XL indeed did though.
11. There was a Nintendo Direct last month and before that a very memorable hour long presentation for the Switch, and they've announced a Nindies showcase on the 28th. Addmitedly they're rarer than before, that being caused by Iwata's death. But now with the Switch and more games in development there's going to be an increase in Nintendo Directs or presentations in general.
12. They're priced out of the range for many people? Well, that sucks considering the PS4 and XBONE controllers are really not that cheaper, yet the Pro Controller has HD Rumble, USB - C and 40 hour battery life, and the Joy - Con are incredibly versatile and modular with 20 hours of battery life, HD Rumble, NFC, IR Pointer and can work as two controlers. Not to mention all of these are optional. They're fairly priced in my opinion considering they have to make a profit and pay fees to use the tech, and even if they cut their profit margins to the absolute minimum it would still be a more expensive than most people think. The same applies to the Switch. The prices will fall as time goes on, the other consoles had prices at launch that would be absurd by these standards.
13. No pack in game is to avoid further raising the price. Imagine how much people would complain if the price were higher than 300 USD, I bet they would even talk about how they should have removed it or made a bundle without it. I honestly don't think from what I've seen that this is that big of a deal breaker, and again none of the other consoles came with a pack in game at launch, neither did the DS or 3DS (unless you're counting the Mii and AR minigames :/).
14. The Switch can't contain a full fledged hard drive in it like the other consoles due to size. The PS4 and XBONE can get away with it due to using big, slow and clunky HDDs that wouldn't fit in the Switch, and even if they did could potentially easily break. This forces them to use flash storage, which is believe it or not more expensive. This would again further raise the costs of the Switch, as they've themselves stated that they had to cut corners to reach that price tag. You can't magically multiply the storage without multiplying the price, especially if they were to keep the same speedy transfer speed. Nintendo aren't greedy scum and greatly marking up the Switch price, when you add up all the costs of the console you'd see they're not making as much money per unit as you'd think. Besides, 32GB is a good middle ground, it's enough for one or two bigger games, or a few smaller ones, while microSD is a cheap way to upgrade storage (you can find 128 GB with good transfer speeds for ~$35) and most people buying digital already have one or more lying around, and since they aren't proprietary you can use them for storing other things as well. This also keeps the costs down for those going physical.
Also, "you can't compare the other consoles at launch and the Switch at launch because what matters is right now" is not really that much of an argument still, considering the prices are still around the same and aren't going to drop significantly anytime soon, and Nintendo has only launched the system compared to the other two putting them in the same position the other two consoles were before. Also, technically the Switch is Generation 9, giving it a headstart alike the Wii U, though hopes are it will sell better.
All in all, most of these complaints / arguments don't even fit in with Nintendo beeing greedy, are plain stupid from a logical standpoint or make no sense.
