It's called personal standards, buying a 1.84TFlop device for home gaming in 2013 was well up to the standards I expect. 0.4TFlop home gaming in 2017 is not. Sorry but adding PC's to the mix changes literally nothing, there is a bar. There is no "twisted logic here".

I don't want a handheld, I want a Nintendo Console and I will buy a Switch because I want to, and it is the only Nintendo Console.

You should probably learn to discuss the Switch without getting so upset whenever someone speaks negatively about it.

You should probably not get upset about having to buy a handheld. 

PS4 was a weak console right from the gate. That's why they needed to come with a PS4 Pro not long after. A 2013 home console that can't play every game in 1080p and 60 fps is not an acceptable standard if you look at what PCs have been doing for years now.
