What?! You say this based on what exactly? EDGE is one of the most highly appraised, credible and knowledgeable magazines around and has been so for a very long time. A 10/10 in EDGE is reserved for the absolutely best games -- they don't hand them around lightly, and if you check at their history of 10/10s, they have always been spot on with their decisions.
EDGE is one of the few whose journalistic integrity I trust and take into account.
