There is a difference between "beautiful" and "technically impressive". He did say that the game was pretty overall, but that the graphics were pretty bad themselves.

Pretty bad? lol What point are we reaching that we think a game like BoTW graphics are pretty bad? is getting ridiculous.

And btw, artsyle is a fundamental part of the graphics, is not something you can separate, to say this game has bad graphics is just mindblowing and probably very biased.
