Really? Well then I am WAY out of the loop lol. I thought a transgender was someone that went out and had surgery and changed their body parts. So it is just someone who feels trapped in the wrong body whether they do something about it or not?

Not 100% sure but I think so. I've always known transsexuals to be ones that have actually had surgery to change their sex and transvestites as ones that dress as the opposite sex but haven't actually changed. The term transgender is still pretty new to me.

And as for your previous post, yeah that's what I'm saying. People should use the one that their body fits in with, for the most part that should also be the one people are comfortable with anyway. The only issue I can see is people that haven't actually changed sex yet. Probably more of an issue with schools as in this case since there may well be age requirements for actually having a sex change (don't know if there are, but I'd assume there is).

See I mixed all the terms together I have to be sure to correct that when discussing these things going forward! And yes the school thing I can clearly see. Especially having a son and a daughter myself. That is indeed a very interesting scenario. But yeah I figured that was what you were saying in your post to begin with. Not sure how it got dragged on so long lol.

Yep. That´s the point. Imagine a man that wants to use the woman´s bathroom just because he´s using women´s clothes, acessories and have a feminine personality.  Although all those measures, he´s still a man.

If the person already passed through  surgical procedures, documents  replacement etc. then there´s nothing to discuss about. They just need to use the proper bathroom for "their current sexual situation".

I mean hey to each his/her own. But I am with Ka-pi I don't see what the issue or big deal is. Heterosexual males/females are not able to go whatever restroom they feel like so I it should be the same all around. Nothing wrong with that. This is such a sensitive subject as is. Because again I have NOTHING against. transgenders, transexuals, homosexuals or lesbians but when it comes to issues like these unless you are transexual and have had that surgery then I don't see what the big deal is. Even then it isn't a big deal if you think about it.
