FFXV doing pretty awesome!
People didn't mind comparing its first week to FFXIII but suddenly that doesn't apply to its legs.
By now FFXIII had the same kind of price drop and was already sub 1.5k.

FFXIII shipped 1.789k at launch and sold through the first shipment by week 3. FFXV still has more than 100k copies on shelves. The amount of unsold copies of FFXIII never was as big as XV

[PS3] Final Fantasy XIII # (Square Enix) {2009.12.17} (¥8.800) - 1.501.964 / NEW <83,96%> [Units shipped => 1.788.904]

[PS4] Final Fantasy XV # (Square Enix) {2016.11.29} (¥8.800) - 690.471 / NEW <64,63%> [Units shipped => 1.068.344]

When a game is discounted we can't talk about legs, but retailers doing its job.

First shipment doesn't matter in this case. FFXIII was discounted to the same price just as fast as FFXV even if it wasn't overshipped. FFXV isn't seeing historical price cuts here. It's the same as FFXIII. Also I think used copies are selling at a higher price than FFXIII's.

FFXV is simply having better legs than FFXIII (not saying great legs simply better legs than FFXIII which people didn't mind profusely comparing it to for first week numbers). I wish people who made all those FFXIII comparison in FFXV's first week would at least now acknowledge the better legs. It comes across as double standards not to.
