FFXIII shipped 1.789k at launch and sold through the first shipment by week 3. FFXV still has more than 100k copies on shelves. The amount of unsold copies of FFXIII never was as big as XV

When a game is discounted we can't talk about legs, but retailers doing its job.

However,  I would add something in the last sentence.

When a game is discounted just after the release ( because of  stagnating excessive stock ) , we can't talk about legs, but retailers doing its job. 

If something is discounted a lot later, the we can talk for legs, I think  ;)
