The Wii U launch was more or less in line with what Nintendo typically does for a November launch to the end of the year (Gamecube 3.29 not adding the .51k from Japan's early launch, Wii 3.19, Wii U 3.09). Two of those three consoles were commercial failures and one was a success... so taking this statement from Gamestop with a grain of salt is ok because these preorders are not indicative of its future. |
Point is that are all actually good and very successful launches, but this time having launch outside holiday season in March and with this statment, that is oncouruging. Of Course this mostly talk about launch pre orders and interest, we dont know how thing will be in few months.
