Even if that was true which it isn't that isn't the point. The point is such games are available elsewhere often at a higher performance level for a fraction of the price.

Higher performance level? A five year old, entry level laptop from Walmart can play most indie games. lol. Playing Isaac on a PS4 is complete overkill.

Also, choosing the Switch version means physical copies and game manuals. That's nothing but win.

Let's see how much win there is for such a title at retail prices. If all things were equal lets say $4 on Switch, Steam and Android then the Switch option would be fine but that isn't it's pricing. Personally I wouldn't want to tie up the cartridge slot with a minor title like this. On the Vita I tend to have small games on flash storage and a major game in the cartridge slot when carrying. Yes indie games can be enhanced on more powerful hardware like any other game. I don't know this game that well but suspect faster loading, higher resolution display and decent ergonomic controller will enhance playability even on very basic indie games and certainly indie games from pc may have higher technical requirements than indie games originally from android or ios lets say.

Even if the Switch succeeds as hardware I still feel there will be rejection of these minor titles at grossly inflated prices. I give consumers more credit than pay huge differences in prices for the same games available elsewhere. Most people understand value and don't have infinite disposable income. I also believe their very existence will be offputting to many people who will realise the cost of buying games for the Switch will be excessive even for ports of older titles afnd simply not purchase a Switch console. New consoles need new original content not shovelware.
