This game itself doesn't excite me much based off what I've seen but I almost want to buy it just because of the cool stuff that comes in the packaging lol.. I really hope more of the indie/mid tier devs follow suit and release physical versions of their games complete with goods like these. Specifically I hope to see Fast RMX and Has Been Heroes with a release like this, as those are games I'm more interested in.

Wow that small indie game is getting a full retail release? It was on offer for 79p on Steam some time back and I still didn't buy it. Who is going to pay money like that for small indie titles? Seems like commercial suicide. If I bought a  Switch and came across this game  for £2 in a bargain bin I  still wouldn't buy it. It will be interesting to see how these games perform at retail to say the least.

Well a lot of it will depend on the game of course. But there is something to be said for having the game as a physical release, especially with extra like instructions and whatnot, as well as the ability to play it on your TV as well as on the go. These are all little things but nonetheless add value to the game. For this reason I could see myself playing 10 or even 20 bucks for certain indie/smaller games on Switch on a physical media, as opposed to spending half that on simply a Steam DRM digital purchase, as long as they're of quality and offer a decent amount of gameplay.

I think it's cool that some of these indie devs are potentially releasing their games as a physical release and I hope it becomes a trend with the Switch. It's a way to raise their value as well as their clout in a cluttered marketplace.
