I think the message is for people who are PC to actually focus on real issues.

Someone should come teach the Swedes, all they do is shout about semantics and moral philosophy, the issues themselves are of secondary importance at best. And what is being said matters less than who is saying it, which is another huge issue. People tend to listen more closely to celebrities and bloggers and similar figures than actual scientists, analsysts or professionals. Mostly because they like their persona and the glitz and glam, if you listen closely to these people, you realize that it's mostly cheap populist slogans mixed with shameless play on fame. Most people who are allowed significant space in debates have a fairly shallow grasp on the issues at hand and this leads to a more or less worthless discussion and glazed, hostile forums that ultimately cause polarization and the forming or rigid political blocks with increasingly harsh rhetoric based on decreasingly accurate grounds. Many of the most popular arguments today on hot topics have a staggering lack of nuance, once again; Sweden are the best at this by far, I was quite shocked when I first moved here and I usually choose to simply avoid political topics most of the time.
