While it may not be ideal for Nintendo, it may not be so bad for them to be a secondary console, as long as they make a good enough profit, right?

Isn't it when you look at the financials of Nintendo and Sony's gaming divisions that Nintendo made more profit than Sony even during the PS2 era?

Being #1 doesn't always mean something. Heck, Apple isn't dwarfed by the Android market, yet the are making more money than all of them combined.
