The Switch is in an interesting position. Personally, I don't see it getting a lot of Western AAA third party games even though companies like Epic Games seems to be in love with the Switch for some reason. However, the Switch will get a ton of Japanese support, exclusive support especially. Think of all those niche games you might have seen on the 3DS or PS Vita. They're going to be coming to the Switch. The 3DS and Vita are aging. They're slowly on their way out. Developers in Japan need a Nintendo portable system. The Switch is the closest thing to that right now. So I think the real test with the Switch will be to see how well these games will perform on a console that will probably be quite popular.
