I'm not the greatest Zelda fan and didn't enjoy Ocarina as much as many other N64 titles. It probably wouldn't make my top ten of N64 favourite games. The Zelda game that I loved the most was Wind waker and see a lot of parallels with Breath of the Wild and Windwaker.
I tried to get into Ocarina again on 3DS but lost interest as there was always something else to play. If I play Breath of the Wild for more than about 5 hours which I'm sure I will it would have surpassed Ocarina for me. In comparison Mario 64 I must have played for 100s of hours on both N64 and DS.
I think Windwaker was the first Zelda game where I played more hours on that than I did on the format's mario game (Sunshine). I reckon I put in 2x the time on Windwaker. With the wii it was straight back to Mario as I definitely spent more time on the 2 Mario Galaxy games over Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword which to be honest I never liked that much. At that point the games seemed very dated compared to games on other formats.
