I know, right?! That's why I wanted to share this. The guy could've easily said, "Nope, sorry, can't help you, all sales are final." And it wouldn't have been anyone's fault but my own, and I would have been upset with no one buy myself. I really appreciate when some stranger on the phone who probably deals with BS all day long goes off-script and really helps me out when he could have just towed the company line.
