Conquest and Birthright are completely different. They are not just the exact same battles with you on the opposin side.

Well we are talking about the middle path of the game aka third ending, I will most likely not be touching birthright at all, because I felt it focuses on the casual easy side of fire emblem that I felt in Awakening. 

Not so much casual, just more traditional in the story telling and structure.

I have not played the middle path yet, so no idea what that is like. But from what i've heard, each game feels like a full game.
