I'd avoid buying a BMW in general. If even a small thing goes wrong with it, you'll be footing a rather large bill just to get it repaired. I don't find it unusual what the dealer did about telling you to tell someone else you put 2400 down instead a 1000, I've seen a few places do that as well.
