Everybody, even skeptics, said they feel way better than they look.
Wiimote also needed a Nunchuck for many games, don't you remember?
I'm sure most multiplayer games will be compatible with one Joycon alone each gamer anyways, so technically you have 2 gamepads for multiplayer already out of the box
