Splatoon was earlier than other games Nintendo showed. But i think the real problem so far was lack of anti aliasing, not resolution.

2160p is not 720p*3... It is 9 times the resolution... I know math is difficult sometimes but atleast grab a calculator and check before posting

I was talking about the 2160. Not overall pixelcount.

Like, pixels per inch.

 

1080=720*1.5

2160=720*3

That's more about the scalingside of life. Not the overall pixelcount. You can get a 'perfect' blow up with 3 times the pixels (for each direction), which doesn't work for 1080p.

Or calculate way more appropriate interpolation results for 'new' pixels.

So think and Check before posting.
