You are right making a switch, which releases 3 and a half years early and is marketed as a home console and is at least half as powerfull, proberbly worse, much worse for resolution when you start counting memory bandwith and memory amount...
it just makes the switch extremely scary to buy into unless you are buying it as a handheld but many people are seeing it as a "can play however you want" console but when you get 720p or even lower resolutions its going to look like a blurry mess on most larger 4k televisions when for almost the same price you can buy a ps4 pro right now or a xbox scorpio at the end of the year.
Its not a handheld and its a pretty underpowered home console, at least he wii u was more powerfull then the ps3 and xbox360 when it came out at the end of their lifecycles.
