The biggest advantage of PC gaming is choice:
- choice to play games in 21:9 or instead of 16:9, if you like widescreen gaming
- choice to play games on several monitors, if you like surround-gaming for a better immersion
- choice to play games in stereoscopic 3D instead of 2D, if you like the 3D-effect
- choice how you distribute your system's performance (higher resolution, better effects or higher fps)
- choice to turn off post processing effects you don't like, f.e. motion blur or chromatic aberration
- choice to play games with 60, 120, 144 or even 240 fps if you want minimal input lag and smooth graphics
- choice to play games in 1440p or 4K or above (by reducing other settings or by upgrading hardware)
- choice to play games in lower settings in favor of mobility/portability (or costs)
- choice to play games with keyboard + mouse
- choice to play games with your favorite game controller
- choice to put your games on a fast SSD with a proper connection, if you want to reduce loading times
- choice to buy games in different digital stores or in bundles to get the best deals
