Theyll launch with more characters. But even if it is a low count like lets say 8-10 characters (my money is on 12-15), the difference here compared to other fighters i notice (like pokken and its starting 14-16 characters) is the sole fact that its more than what it appears due to the arm selection (2 each) which in an ironic way makes characters feel as if they had just multiplied by a good amount.

 

If we botb play mummy master, it doesnt mean we are playing the same character as i can use 2 different arms vs yours for ex

Oh this is a great point, Arms has a level of customization not seen in other fighters. I kinda regret not going to the preview event as I really want to try this game out. Hopefully there'll be an eShop demo.
