I loved MK8. As a matter of fact, I bought all the DLC on day one (and I hate DLC). But I'm not buying it twice. I own it. I can still play it if I want to play it. They're not taking my Wii U away.
Simply adding things to the same game doesn't make it a new game so I'll wait until MK9 which will be an entirely new game.
