Deleting old games for new ones and vise versa only works when servers allow you to. Sucks that Vita cards are so expensive and that you cant just toss all your games on an SD card for future proofing yourself.

Well, you can create backups on your PC. It's not a perfect solution, but if you believe Sony will pull them off of PSN to re-download, then it's an option to consider.
