No. PS4 doesn't come even close to replacing PC for me. My first reaction to this threads was to call it a joke, which should tell how far PS4 is from offering a decent amount of good stuff from the PC world.
Let me elaborate a bit:
- practically no mods
- no keyboard and mouse support to speak of
- online service uses a subscription model
- no backwards compatibility
- questionable forward compatibility (i.e. current games might not work with future generations)
- weak upgradeability
- extremely weak customazibility
- closed ecosystem
- suitable only for a very small set of tasks
- very little freedom in general
