Play as Kratos or his son? Which one should die?

Wow, you have a dark mind. However knowing Kratos he might just kill him anyway, regardless weather he breaks bad or not. 

Kratos doesn't kill people for the sake of it when they are close to him. The entire story of God of War revolves around how he regrets killing his wife and daughter and in Chains of Olympus he has emotional moments with his daughter. He also saves the life of his brother once in Ghost of Sparta. ANd in Ascension he doesn't want to kill Orkos but Orkos asks him to kill him.
