I think what he meant was this:
If you're a hardcore gamer who plays online all the time and needs the best graphics, etc. the Switch clearly wasn't made for you. Which is ok. But some people don't actually complain about a missing feature, they complain about the general direction Nintendo is taking. Kinda like a guy who complains about the existence of female hygiene products, even though a) these things were definitely not made for him b) he wouldn't have use for a tampon even if they added that headphone jack and c) there's clearly a market for these kinds of products.
(And this analogy is totally ok because all Nintendo fans are girls.)
