We are talking about home console mode here as i Said, though i Guess you can buy some extender for your headphones ( but not sûre its possible in TV mode to use thé headphones port of thé console ?)but that seems rather Silly that Nintendo forces us to buy a useless tool just for this and do such highly not practical thing while à simple port would have solved thé problèm easily
