Just looking at those pics made me think of something in regards to price. Lets say the Wii U was not a total bomb, and was a relatively successful console. Then lets say the Switch was not a new console, but just a "slim" version per chance. You know an updated model of teh Wii U. It did nothing the Wii U couldn't do. No extra portability, just a new basically gamepad. Would people be willing to accept the price? I mean I see lots of people on forums buying a SECOND PS4 or something when a slim version comes out. They are basically spending money pointlessly cause they already have the system that can play the games. So really makes me question peoples qualms with the $300. This isn't just a slim, its a new console. Looking at these pics it looks like a slim as well. It's like getting the updated slim verison on release date. |
I was somewhat upset at the $300 price tag at first, expecting a $249.99 but these pics make the Switch look very appealing to me. To fit a WiiU+ into such a small package I imagine must have taken considerable technological know-how. The thing looks great!
