It could mean faster development times, working with a standard engine engine of building a new one or upgrading an older 1. It could also mean they'd be more able to help 3rd parties port games to the Switch.
I wonder if -should they use Unreal 4 for games like Metroid and even Mario- they would also use it for cell shaded games like breath of the wild. I know Unreal 3 was used for cell-shaded games, but I'd imagine Nintendo's proprietary engines would be better suited for those games.
