turn it off, put it on sleep mode or charge it while at work

You are making up a problem that doesnt exist

Sorry but it is a problem.

That doesn't mean i'm not going to buy one, it just means im not going to waste my time trying to use it like I would a normal portable.  It just doesn't meet my needs that way.  I'll strictly use it as a home console.
