Remember that the first week of the year is a strong sales week, specially for casual and family oriented games, since many families give their Christmas gifts on Jan 6th. So it's not so strange that popular games like FIFA or Just Dance have beaten Resident Evil, that came out at the end of the month and didn't enjoy that holidays boost.
